Raw Milk supporters and opponents packed The South Dakota Senate Health and Human Services committee meeting Friday in Pierre.  Dakota Rural Action Lobbyist Sabrina King whose group backs Senator Phil Jensen’s raw milk legislation says the measure was tabled to a future meeting while a compromise is worked out.

King says both sides are concerned about safety.

She thinks a meaningful compromise will be reached.

King says whatever type of rules are worked out will be regulated by the South Dakota Department of Agriculture.
