The South Dakota Public Utilities Commission held a public hearing last week in Avon on a permit application for the Prevailing Wind Energy park facility. PUC Chair Kristie Fiegen says it was a useful hearing……

Fiegen says there are several more steps in the approval process…..

Fiegen says while much of the public testimony was emotional, the Commission has to stick to the facts and the law…….

sPower officials said the project could be online by the end of the year.
