Some public land held by the State of South Dakota could be sold as part of a land swap.
School & Public Lands Commissioner Ryan Brunner says he will propose a bill that would set that up….
Brunner says much of the public land in the state is difficult to access….
Brunner says they would then look to buy land, and consolidate their holdings…
Brunner’s office manages over seven hundred thousand acres of public land, mostly in central and western parts of the state.
