The 49th annual South Dakota Pork Congress runs Wednesday and Thursday in Sioux Falls. The event will feature a sold-out trade show, along with various seminars and TQA and PQA Plus certification training. South Dakota Pork Producers Council President Ryan Storm says the Council will also hold their annual business and resolution session and elections.
Storm says as far as federal legislation his group will be pushing Congress to provide funding for a Foot and Mouth Disease vaccine bank.
The trade show runs from 10 am to 5 pm on Wednesday and 9 am to 3 pm on Thursday at the Ramkota Hotel and Exhibit Hall.
