South Dakota Pork Producers Council members will be giving away 15 pound boxes of pork on Tuesday afternoon in Yankton at the High School Parking lot. Pork Council’s Stacy Sorlien says the giveaway is at 3pm with folks allowed to start lining up at 2.

She says the total amount of pork that will be distributed equates to 10,000 pounds.

Sorlien says it’s a first come first served basis with their Yankton giveaway.

Sorlien says the pork giveaway they had in Aberdeen earlier this year went very well.
