The Planning Committee of the South Dakota Legislature meets Monday in Pierre.
Committee member Senator Billie Sutton of Burke says some of their meeting will be looking ahead to the January session.

The committee has been looking at education funding, especially as it relates to teacher pay. Sutton says they will work through different proposals and ideas.

Sutton says it may be a while before they find a workable compromise.

The 2015 sessions starts on January 14th.
