South Dakota Governor Dennis Daugaard is considering calling legislators back to Pierre for a special session. It would consider changes to the states online sales tax law.
Senator Jim Bolin of Canton says an amendment added by Rapid City Senator Jeff Partridge is at the center of the issue…..

Bolin says there are some questions on the intent of the amendment….

The amendment directs how the additional sales tax money from online sales is directed.
Bolin says he thinks most legislators are in agreement in expanding the sales tax collections…..

An email has been circulated among lawmakers, asking them their preference for a special session date.
