South Dakota Legislative Committee on Mental Health Services & Access Wraps Up

The “Access to Mental Health Services” interim committee of the South Dakota legislature held their fourth and probably last meeting in Pierre Wednesday.
The committee was approved by legislators earlier this year to look at issues connected to access and costs of mental health services.
Committee Chair, Senator Deb Soholt of Sioux Falls, says they will pull together the recommendations……

Soholt says they came to many of the same conclusions, even as they broke into small discussion groups…

Soholt says she wants committee members to help write the final report……

Soholt says there will probably be a conference call after next months elections to finalize their report.
