A legislative committee dealing with illegal drugs held their first meeting of the summer Monday.

The “Offenses Regarding Controlled Substances” interim study met in Pierre.

Committee Chairman, Representative Steven Haugaard of Sioux Falls, says those using drugs know what they are doing….

The committee will meet again this fall to see if they can come up with some recommendations for the 2020 session.
