A new report from the American Wind Energy Association shows South Dakota falling behind neighboring states in bringing new wind project on line.
The report shows South Dakota with less than two hundred fifty megawatts of wind power projects planned for 2015.

The report shows South Dakota with a production capacity of about eight hundred eighty megawatts of wind produced power. That compares to three thousand megawatts in Minnesota and over fifty seven hundred in Iowa.
