South Dakota FSA Director Talks About Emergency Relief Programs At Ag Summit.

During Wednesday’s Governor’s Ag Summit, held at Brookings, South Dakota’s USDA Farm Services Agency Director Steve Dick spoke about the various low interest emergency loan programs and other forms of relief packages available to farmers through the FSA offices.  Dick says farmers are now able to apply for those relief programs, and many are taking advantage of the opportunities.  The South Dakota FSA Director says farmers would have had to suffered a crop loss in order to qualify for the emergency relief program.
