The South Dakota FFA Foundation has received a $2,500 grant from Farm Credit Services of America. Foundation executive director Gerri Eide says the donation goes to their FFA Ag Adventure Center and was awarded through FCSA’s Working Here Fund.
She says their FFA Ag Adventure Center located at the South Dakota State Fair is designed to bring a better understanding of modern agriculture to the general public.
Eide says the FFA Ag Adventure Center provides hands on activities for all ages to learn more about farming and food production.
Eide says they also have a grain bin safety exhibit to teach the public how the dangers of grain entrapments.
