More than 2,000 members, representing 90 chapters of the South Dakota FFA will converge on the South Dakota State University campus next Sunday for the annual State FFA Convention.  Danni Herring, the South Dakota FFA executive director says it will be nice to be back at the traditional location.

Herring says one of the highlights to the annual convention is the awarding of the state FFA degrees and the selection of the Star Candidates.

The South Dakota FFA executive says the retiring state officers will deliver their farewell addresses, and a national FFA officer will be giving this year’s key-note address.

The South Dakota State FFA Convention will feature members competing in various leadership and speech competitions.
