South Dakota Farmer Runs for National Position

One South Dakotan is throwing his hat in the race to be the next Vice President of National Farmers Union.  Jeff Kippley is a crop and cattle producer as well as a small business owner from Aberdeen, South Dakota. He currently serves as a non-voting member of the National Farmers Union board and says if he is elected, he hopes to tackle a variety of competition issues that affect all producers.

Kippley wants to focus on the U.S export market and the challenges it faces as well.

He says that overall, he wants to work to pave the way for the next generation of young farmers.
