The South Dakota farm Bureau Young Farmer and Rancher Committee is holding their 2017 Leadership Conference starting today in Sioux Falls. District 6 Chair Heather Maude says they’re excited about the educational opportunities planned as part of the two-day meeting, including tours of Raven Industries and the Smithfield Foods packing plant, plus various speakers.

Maude says they’ll also have a trade show where young producers can learn about the newest technology and services in agriculture.

She says the conference is a chance to network with other young farm and ranch families involved in the organization.

The Young Farmer and Rancher Conference will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown in Sioux Falls and you can register on site.
