South Dakota Faces Shortage of Special Education Teachers

The “Special Education Interim Committee” of the South Dakota legislature met Tuesday in Pierre. This committee follows on a summer study last year and legislation earlier this year that attempted to address the issues with special education, which has seen growing numbers of students and costs.
