South Dakota democrats are hoping to use this weekend’s state convention has a launching point for the fall campaign.
Party Executive Director Sam Parkinson says they have good candidates leading the party……
Democratic voter registrations trail far behind republicans, with over two hundred forty-nine thousand republicans and just over one hundred fifty six thousand democrats.
Parkinson says they aren’t focused on those numbers…..
Parkinson says they didn’t add an overall theme for the convention……
Parkinson says they have delegates coming from fifty-two of the states sixty-six counties. The gathering will be at the Sioux Falls Convention Center tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday.
