Soil health, the new farm bill and new opportunities for the corn industry will headline the South Dakota Corn Growers Association annual meeting this Saturday in Sioux Falls. South Dakota Corn Industry Affairs Director Teddi Mueller says the educational seminars kickoff with a marketing presentation. Then at 10:30 am farmers can hear the latest on soil health, which is quickly become the buzzword in agriculture.

At 2:00 pm another panel will lay the groundwork for the writing of the new farm bill, including possible policy changes and how agriculture can work with other groups to get a favorable outcome.

National Corn Growers Association CEO Chris Novak will keynote the evening banquet with a look at the next generation of opportunities in the corn industry.
