National Cattlemen’s Beef Association’s summer meeting gets underway in Denver today and runs through August 2. South Dakota Cattlemen’s President Cory Eich says NCBA members will begin the process of ironing our policy. He says the South Dakota delegation’s main concern are EPA’s proposed Waters of the U.S. and interpretive rule.
Eich says they’ll also talk about everything from foot and mouth disease concerns to animal health and trade issues.
Eich says NCBA members will also discuss recent developments with the Endangered Species Act and resulting regulations.
