With a number of issues again on the November ballot, the South Dakota Broadcasters Association is making an offer to help educate voters.
Broadcasters Association President Steve Williard appeared in front of the legislatures Executive Board this week to ask them to take part in a forum on some of the ballot issues…..
Williard says legislators have the background to help explain the ballot issues……
Williard says those forums would then be broadcast on stations across the state…..
Williard says the forum would focus on Amendment “W”, dealing with campaign finances, Initiated Measure 24, preventing contributions from out of state, and Initiated Measure 25, that would increase tobacco taxes, and dedicate it to tech schools. Board members said they would address it at their May meeting.
