South Dakota Board of Regents Sets Tuition Increase

Students at South Dakota universities will pay more for tuition next year. The overall average increase is about three percent but will range from one point four percent at Dakota State, to three point eight percent at South Dakota State University.
Board of Regents President Bob Sutton says most of the increase will go to staff pay raises……

Sutton says they also have to keep an eye on tuition costs in surrounding states……

A report showed tuition has risen forty percent in the last ten years. Sutton says they want to try to flatten that out……

Tuition rose on average two point nine percent this year.
