The South Dakota Board of Regents has named Michael Rush as their next Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer. Rush will replace Jack Warner, who is retiring.
Rush, the current executive director of the Idaho State Board of Education/Board of Regents will start June 29th.

He says the systems in the two states have some similarities.

Rush says he is impressed with the organization of the higher education system.

Rush says major changes are underway for all colleges and universities.

Rush has undergrad and master’s degrees in ag education from the University of Idaho and his doctorate from Virginia Tech.
