This week the South Dakota Department of Agriculture unveiled the South Dakota Agricultural Economic Impact Study. State Ag Secretary Lucas Lentsch says the study shows how important agriculture is both statewide and at the county and local levels.
Lentsch says the study also shows how many jobs are supported by agriculture in South Dakota.
Lentsch adds today, grand openings are being held showcasing even more ag development in the state.
The Agricultural Economic Impact Study was put together by the South Dakota Department of Agriculture, SDSU Extension, the National Ag Statistics Service and Decision Innovation Solutions.
