South Dakota soil isn’t just dirt. That is the message in an upcoming Soil Health Field Day hosted by the Natural Resource Conservation Service and the South Dakota Soil Health Coalition Board. Doug Sieck is a member of the SHCB and says the event will feature several soil experts.
Sieck says the event will discuss all kinds of soil that is affected by production agriculture, from the west river grasslands to east river crop ground.
The event will take place on Tuesday, July 14th from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm at the Dakota Lakes Research Center east of Pierre.
