The South Dakota Board of Educational Standards, meeting in Aberdeen, heard over three hours of public input on the proposed new Social Studies Standards. Those would revise the teaching of social studies and history in grades K through Twelve.

The Board will hold three more public meetings before final standards are approved sometime next spring.
