Day one of the NAIA national volleyball tournament in Sioux City saw all five GPAC squads score victories in pool play.

Casey Krolikowski totaled 12 kills to pace third ranked Hastings to an opening pool play three set win over Embry Riddle (Arizona) at the 2017 National Championship being played at the Tyson Events Center for the 10th consecutive year.

Jenny Bair and Priscilla O’Dowd each totaled 11 kills to lead Midland to an opening pool play three set win over Marian.

Ema Altena tallied 17 kills as Dordt won in three over Ottawa. AJ Horstman pounded 11 kills as Northwestern won in three over Lourdes. Led by Jenn Buyert’s 11 kills, Morningside won in three over Columbia.
