Voters in the Gregory school district this week defeated a property tax opt out proposal by a vote of 436 to 305. The opt out would have been for three hundred thousand dollars for each of the next three years.

Klein says they do not have many more budget cutting options………
The school board has also decided to not accept their monthly pay and mileage in an attempt to help the budget situation. Gregory has about three hundred seventy eight students in K through 12.
