After two failed property tax opt out votes in the last year, the Gregory School District started this year on a tight budget.
Superintendent Sara Klein says they had to make more adjustments to their staffing………

Klein says they lost a veteran teacher that they could not replace, and had to realign a number of their middle and high school classes…………

Klein says the staff changes also led to large class sizes in some of the elementary grades……………

Klein says the school board has not had any recent discussions of another opt out attempt. Gregory has three hundred eighty one students in K – 12 this year.
