The budget that the Yankton School Board will consider for the next year will include a six percent pay raise for teachers.

Under the Blue Ribbon committee of 2016, schools have to adjust their teacher pay each year to make their accountability rating. Bietz says that has become easier over time….
The school board will formally adopt the budget at one of their summer meetings.
