The second annual Siouxland Ag Lenders Seminar will be held Thursday near Orange City, Iowa. Northwest Iowa Extension Dairy Specialist Dr. Fred Hall says the keynote address will be given by Dr. Joe Outlaw of Texas A & M University on the 2018 farm bill.

He says other topics include the agricultural market outlooks, financial record keeping and accounting, insurance, plus farm safety procedures. Hall says most of the information will be valuable for both lenders and borrowers.

Hall says while there’s a great deal of information targeted toward dairymen, everyone is welcome.

The Siouxland Ag Lenders Seminar is sponsored by the ISU Extension and Outreach Dairy Team, Iowa Farm Bureau, and the Bankers Associations in the four-state region. The program runs from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. at the Triple Box.
