Dairy producers from across the nation will gather at Sioux Falls this week for the National Holstein Convention.  “Progress on the Plains” is the chosen theme for this year’s conference.  Darrel Rennick serves as the convention chairman.  He says the national convention will feature several tours to showcase technology within the dairy industry.  Rennick says much of the modern technology found on today’s dairy farms involves robotics.  The convention chairman says a topic to be discussed will be how to remain profitable while facing high input costs.  The National Holstein Convention continues through Friday.
