The police department in Sioux City, Iowa, is the latest in the region to test body cameras. Police Chief Doug Young says the cameras may soon become part of their regular equipment.

Young says they’ll try out several styles before making a final choice, as they’re also working up a plan for how to use the cameras.

Young says he hasn’t set a deadline for when all officers in the field will be wearing the devices, but he says the day will be sooner, not later.
