Signing day brought new hope and more quality talent to area football teams as recognized by national observers.

Football experts at ESPN gave some good marks for teams like Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota and Iowa State.

Nebraska was deemed to have added the 20th best recruiting class in the nation with their 25 signees.
The Huskers were listed as fourth best in the Big Ten behind only Ohio State, Michigan and Penn State.

Iowa, with 22 signees, was tabbed 27th best in the country and sixth among Big Ten lists.

Minnesota, which named 27 newcomers, was 37th overall and tenth among league teams.

Iowa State, which added 23, was #36 in the nation and rated fourth among Big 12 teams.
