The Yankton County Commission this week approved replacement of a small culvert bridge over a tributary of the James River north east of Yankton. The project had been the center of weeks of debate over costs, and how it would be paid for.
Commission Chairman Todd Woods says that may set the tone for future road construction projects….

Woods says they got a good agreement on the scope of the project and the costs….

The county, James River Water Development District, and the township are splitting the estimated one hundred fifty thousand dollars for the project.
