This week’s announcement that the Mall of America will be closed on Thanksgiving wasn’t a shock to St. Thomas Marketing Professor Jon Seltzer.  He says overall sales weren’t likely where they needed to be. He says shoppers will still have options

 

Seltzer says being open on Thursday also removed some of the excitement of Black Friday.
