Sheila Gestring, the chief financial officer at the University of South Dakota has been selected as the next President, to follow the retiring Jim Abbott.
The Board of Regents made the announcement in Vermillion Tuesday.
Gestring gave credit to Abbott for the progress made at the University…..

Gestring will begin her new job on June 22nd. She has a master’s degree in business administration from USD and has worked there since 2006.
