Another study will be done to see what the costs and benefits would be to extend sewer service west from the City of Yankton to areas near Lewis & Clark Lake.

Yankton County Planning and Zoning Administrator Pat Garrity told the County Commission this week that they need more information…

 

Garrity wanted permission to apply for a grant to fund the study.

He says it will take a partnership to move on the sewer district…

 

There was a study in 2008 in much of the same area. Garrity says this study would look at the economic benefits…

 

The commission approved the request to move ahead with the grant application.
