Yankton City Commissioners have been working on a draft version of an ordinance controlling medical marijuana dispensaries.
While the ordinance hasn’t yet been formally introduced, Mayor Nathan Johnson says one should be in place before medical marijuana becomes legal….

Johnson says they haven’t had much help from state agencies in writing the rules…

Johnson says they want to follow the will of the voters who approved “IM26” last November…

The ordinance may be introduced at the commissions May 24th meeting.
