Service Honors Fallen Omaha Officer

Funeral services for Omaha Police officer Kerrie Orozco, who was killed in the line of duty, were held Tuesday.  Omaha Police Chief Todd Schmaderer spoke at the service.

At the funeral, Reverend William Bond talked about Kerrie’s family.

Services were held for Orozco, an Iowa native, at St. John’s church on the Creighton University campus in Omaha.  The 29 year old mother was fatally show in the line of duty last week in a shootout with a wanted man, who was also killed.
