When it comes to senior citizens, many think about issues associated with retirement savings and healthcare.  Research has found, however, that when it comes to nutrition, seniors aren’t getting the attention they should.  Jared Hybertson, with the Home Instead Senior Care office serving Sioux Falls and surrounding areas, says half of families living near a senior relative don’t share time with them…

To help increase awareness and put more family members at the table, the Home Instead Senior Care Foundation is gathering pledges.  By going online and pledging to eat with a senior family member one Sunday each month, the foundation will donate $1, up to $20,000 to Meals on Wheels.  Hybertson says nutrition is not the only concern…

The pledge form and resources can be found at SundayDinnerPledge dot com.  Those who make the effort will also receive a year’s worth of recipes and shopping guides to make meal preparation easy.
