Nebraska legislators are down to the last few days of the 2020 session. Reaching a “Grand Compromise” on property tax relief and business incentives last week sets the stage for adjournment this week.

During the debates, there were some sharp personal attacks between Senators. Senator Tom Briese of Albion says it wasn’t their best moments…

Briese says besides the tax and incentives package, there are a few important bills that need attention….

The tax package needs to pass twice more for final approval. The session is scheduled to adjourn Thursday.
