Nebraska’s only Latino state senator says it’s time to act in wake of President Trump’s decision to end DACA.

DACA provided legal status for those brought into the country illegally as children.

State Senator Tony Vargas of Omaha calls Trump’s decision wrong. . .

Vargas  says DACA youth have the same wants and dreams as anyone else. . .

Vargas is a first-generation American. His parents emigrated from Peru to the U.S. Vargas says supporters of DACA need to press Congress to enact the program.
