South Dakota Senator John Thune spoke on the U-S Senate floor Wednesday calling on action as to what would be needed for the upcoming Farm Bill legislation. Thune spoke briefly on the damage that had occurred from last Thursday’s storm. Thune listed his “wish list” for the Farm Bill.
Thune mentioned how he has worked across the aisle with Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar on many conservation measures.
Thune also talked about the need for agricultural trade and how the Biden Administration has failed to recognize agriculture as a priority for U-S trade.
