A vote on tax extenders legislation in the U.S. Senate is expected to come up in a couple of weeks.  That’s according to Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley who says the measure will include a number of extensions for bio energy, wind and agriculture.

Grassley says that package will also include a very important provision for agriculture, that being Section 179 on farm equipment and machinery deductions and depreciations.

The tax provisions in the bill expired December 31. If passed, the bill would provide extensions for the rest of 2014 and all of 2015.
