Nebraska Senator Ben Sasse says he and President Trump agree to disagree on many issues.  Sasse rejected the idea that he is criticizing the president every chance he gets and explains his position on issues.

Sasse says he and President Trump have a lot of private meetings on many policy issues.  However, regarding trade and global security matters, Sasse says he told President Trump he will publically speak out about their differences.

Sasse says he turned down appearances on all five Sunday shows 52 weeks straight last year so the idea that he is out to criticize the president is inaccurate.  Sasse recently condemned Trump’s bailout of farmers hit hard by tariffs.
