Omaha Senator Ernie Chambers sent a document to his colleagues in the Nebraska Legislature related to Papillion Senator Bill Kintner’s cybersex scandal. The document was several pages and consisted of a rhyme that also mentioned Kintner’s wife who is battling cancer. Kintner is now demanding Chambers apologize to his wife.

Kintner says it was inappropriate for Chambers to attack and make fun of his wife with her serious medical condition. He goes on to say his wife has done nothing to him and attacking her is a new low, even for Chambers.

He also says it is time for Nebraska lawmakers to focus on important issues facing the state.

The Legislature’s Executive Board asked for Kintner’s resignation but he declined their request last week.
