Senator Criticizes State Corrections Officials

A state senator is critical of Nebraska Attorney General Jon Bruning…and Lancaster County Attorney Joe Kelly for NOT filing criminal charges in the prison sentence miscalculation scandal.
Senator Ernie Chambers of Omaha claims Bruning and Kelly failed to properly evaluate the case. . .

But,Bruning counters he thoroughly reviewed the investigation and concluded no crime was committed. . .

Bruning says the call wasn’t even close.
