A bill that would have funded military, veterans and Zika virus programs got hung up in the US Senate this week.
South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds says disagreements over flags was one of the issues…..

Republicans claim that democrats blocked the funding bill. Democrats say that republicans put “poison pills” in the funding proposal.

Rounds says republicans didn’t put any restrictions on funding for Planned Parenthood clinics…..

Rounds says there was also disagreement over the type of accounting of the bill……

Senators will attempt to take up the bill again after the July Fourth break.
