The Senate Environment and Public Works Committee has passed the “Water Infrastructure Act of 2018.”
South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds, a member of the committee, says it includes authorization and over sight for a number of water related projects……
Rounds says the bill includes a Missouri River plains snowpack monitoring system……
Rounds says the bill also rolls back an Obama Administration rule that restricted public access to the use of water from the Missouri River……
The bill now moves to the Senate floor for further debate.
