The U-S Senate Agriculture Committee listened to testimony Tuesday regarding cattle marketing and price discovery as the committee holds a hearing on the Grassley-Fischer bill.  Senator Chuck Grassley says leading up to the start of the hearing, he has garnered additional support.

Grassley says cattle producers across the country are ready to testify in support of his cattle marketing transparency bill.

Grassley was asked if cattle producers may be reluctant to speak out against the meat packers for fear of retribution and being blacklisted by the four major meat packing companies?

Grassley says Arkansas Senator, John Boozman, the Ranking Member of the Senate Agriculture Committee has not shown support for the bill.
